This entertaining city centre wander reveals places and stories hiding in plain sight — from a forgotten theatre and intriguing stone carvings, to a garden with a dark secret, eccentric landmarks and treasures tucked into unexpected corners. Along the way you’ll encounter remarkable architecture, oddities with brilliant backstories, and moments that make you look twice at places you’ve passed a hundred times. It’s an interesting and surprising journey, full of character, colour and memories that stay with you long after the walk ends.

Duration - 1 hour 30 mins.
Price - £15 per person / £10 for children under 16 / Children in prams or pushchairs free / No minimum charge.
Maximum number – 20 people. This is to ensure that quality is maximised and we do not cause congestion on Manchester’s streets.
Starting point - outside No 1 St Peter’s Square, in front of the Atrium Coffee & Community Shop (which is within No 1 SPS – its sign is in the window).
End point - back in St Peter's Square.

Dogs - this walk sometimes includes a trip inside a building, where dogs are not allowed. Please check beforehand if the particular date you're requesting does include the building visit (it is only open on certain days). If not then dogs will be welcome.
Weather - the walk will go ahead in all weathers, please be prepared for. changeable conditions. However, if I were to cancel due to extreme weather, a full refund will be given.
Cancellations – please make cancellations no later than 24 hours before the tour is due to start. If you cancel after this time, a refund cannot be given.
